Thinking About My Purpose
Point to Ponder: I was planned for God’s pleasure.
Verse to Remember: “The Lord takes pleasure in his people.” Psalm 149:4
Question to Consider: What common task could I start doing as if I were doing it directly for Jesus?
Answer: It would be a mistake to choose one task to perform directly for Jesus. Instead I need to make a lifestyle change and do everything as if working directly for the Lord. Whether I am doing homework, working out, making my bed, or studying for a test, I need to do it with divine purpose in mind. With this kind of mentality not only will I please the Lord, but I will also increase my performance and productivity. No longer will I mindlessly go about my day. From here on out all I do will be done with purpose.
