Thinking About My Purpose
Point to Ponder: I was created to become like Christ.
Verse to Remember: “As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Question to Consider: In what area of my life do I need to ask for the Spirit’s power to be more like Christ today?
Answer: I need to ask the Holy Spirit to help me in all aspects of my life. While I fall short of Christ’s standards in all areas, the one thing that I need the most help with is trust. I’m currently in the middle of a major transition period and find myself wanting to know all of the answers right away. Instead of expecting everything to be clear as day, I have to trust that God’s plan for my life is better than my own and have faith that the Holy Spirit will guide me in the right direction.
