The devil tried to make me a deal,
All he asked for was my soul.
I questioned, “Is that all? There must be more,
don’t you want some silver or gold?”
He slyly replied, “No that’s it,
I know the deal seems bold.
But if you comply I’ll give you the world!
and make sure you never grow old.”
So we danced for a while me and him,
Just swaying back and forth.
When I was pulled aside and given a tip,
“Watch out for that devil’s pitch fork”
I then glanced at his face and started to notice,
the deceit that filled his eyes.
The deal he made was to good to be true.
It was then I discovered his lie.
