Day Sixteen
Thinking About My Purpose
Point to Ponder: Life is all about love.
Verse to Remember: “The entire law is summed up in a single command. ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” Galatians 5:14
Question to Consider: Honestly, are relationships my first priority? How can I ensure that they are?
Answer: Right now I have not been making relationships the top priority in my life. I am guilty of putting my own personal desires, ambitions and needs in front of the ones of those around me. Whether it be choosing to watch t.v. instead of spending time with God or browsing my phone instead of talking to a loved one, it is obvious that I have my priorities all mixed up. To ensure that I get my priorities straightened out I plan on putting my phone away when I’m around others. That means no Facebook, Twitter or Instagram when I am in the presence of loved ones so that I can give them my undivided attention. I look forward to starting this new phase and I can’t wait to see the results.
