Thinking About My Purpose
Point to Ponder: The truth transforms me.
Verse to Remember: “If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32
Question to Consider: What has God already told me in his Word that I haven’t started doing yet?
Answer: God’s word tells us to practice the things He is teaching us and be obedient to His commands. For too long I have known this, yet continued to do things my own way. This false sense of confidence in my own personal abilities and lack of reliance on His Word has resulted in both heartache and failure time and time again. It’s about time I started trusting and obeying Him instead of my own intellect.
