The pavement is rough,
on the road less traveled.
It’s usually littered with potholes,
and surrounded by much gravel.
This path less taken,
is a tough one indeed.
Yet undoubtedly it’s worth it,
once one learns where it leads.
It hands out vast treasures,
greater than any on earth.
And the payout is much better,
than any prizefighter’s purse.
But the reward is not money,
so please don’t be fooled.
Instead it grants you eternity,
under Christ our Saviors rule.
No one said it would be easy,
adversities will strike.
Still ultimately it’s worth it,
when the rewards eternal life.
